We Believe That...​

• the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

• there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

• in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

• in the Blessed Hope – the Rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.

• the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

• regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

• in Water Baptism by immersion for believers according to Matthew 28:19.

• in observance of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of the death of our Lord as outlined in 1 Corinthians 11:23-32.

• the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

• the baptism of the Holy Spirit , according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

• in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

• in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation.

      Our Values: 

• We Value God: His Word, His creation, His Kingdom, His plan of rescue, restoration and redemption through His son, Jesus, and His presence through the Holy Spirit.

• We value Worship: Worship is not just about singing loud - it’s about living loud. We express our worship not only through music and worship times, but believe it should flow through our everyday lives and affect how we interact with others, how we make decisions, how we do our jobs, how we give, how we serve, and through every aspect of life. 

• We Value Prayer: both personal & corporate - and we strive to uphold all that we do as a church in prayer. Regu­larly practiced prayer leads us into deepening appreciation of God’s power, His presence, and His direction and is vitally important in connecting us to God's heart.

• We Value Hospitality:  We want people to feel welcomed, accepted, and loved when they walk through our doors. We welcome diversity - different backgrounds, cultures, personalities and giftings. We come from many different circumstances, experience unique pressures, and we all want to find a place where we belong. 

• We Value Christian Community: 

• We believe connection, community and loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life. Some of us have grown up in the church, and some have not. But we all crave belonging! When we come together to celebrate God’s love in a Christian community of acceptance and forgiveness centered in Jesus Christ - it makes life richer!

• Jesus said: As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” We believe that as we build community, we also reach a community. 

• We Value Serving Others: Christ-centered Mission means taking action that expresses our faith. And so, we open ourselves to potential discomfort by giving our time, talents, resources & yes - even our finances to serve one another, and ultimately, to connect people to the family of God. 

• Because of God’s extravagant love and generosity towards us, we feel it’s important to reflect that love to others - both within the church, and outside of the church.

• We help meet needs in our community, and we also support local and global efforts in the name of Christ. God calls us to be His hands and feet as we serve the least, the last, the lost, and the lonely. We pray that God uses every effort and resource to transform lives. 

• We value Intentional Discipleship: 

• We want to see people actively engage in the ongoing process of growing closer to Christ. We encourage people to constantly move forward on the journey with Jesus. We want to see believers growing in the fruit of the spirit, following the example of Christ, and being transformed from the inside out.
