Conversation Cafe is a free conversational English as an additional language program (EAL) for the whole family. This program provides an opportunity for people to make meaningful community connections while improving their conversational English Language in an informal setting through intentional, facilitated small group conversation. Whether at the doctor’s office, the supermarket, school, or other situations, Conversation Cafe aims to empower individuals by helping them improve their Conversational English so they are comfortable conversing in all types of settings.

 

Our in-person program takes place on Mondays at 6:45 PM-8:00 PM NST

at 130 Magee Road, Gander NL (Evangel Church)

Adult Program

Our bi-weekly adult program helps individuals improve their English while enjoying refreshments and having conversations with small groups of people. Join us for the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends while improving your English skills!

 

Children’s program

Specifically for Children of Participants in the Adult Program

We offer an in-house children’s program for nursery, preschool, and school aged children. Each week, children will be provided with a snack and their English skills will improve through conversations, teaching activities, and play.
